AI Safety
How to use AI tools on MedHall safely and responsibly.
Gemini Access Is 18+ Only
Gemini-powered features on MedHall (including tool analysis, MedHall Brain, and the voice and image features) are restricted to users aged 18 or older. Before the first Gemini request, MedHall asks you to confirm that you are 18+. That confirmation is your own self-confirmation: MedHall does not verify your identity or your age and collects no personal information for it, and the Gemini API is called with your own API key from your own browser.
Study Support Only
AI tools on MedHall are for study and revision support. They provide general educational information, not personalized medical advice.
Mistakes Happen
AI-generated content may contain mistakes. Use it for study and review, and verify important medical information from trusted sources.
How AI Can Get Things Wrong
AI models can hallucinate, meaning they may create information that sounds convincing but is false. They can also misunderstand prompts, produce outdated information, and create false citations or references. Medical output always needs verification, and important decisions should never rely only on AI.
Protect Patient Privacy
Do not enter identifiable or confidential patient information, or private information belonging to another person, into AI tools. Use properly de-identified study material that you are allowed to use.
Your Provider's Rules Apply
When you use your own API key, the provider's terms, privacy policy, and usage rules apply to your data and usage. Review them before use.
Uploaded Material Can Be Misread
When AI analyzes files or images you upload, it may misread handwriting, blurry scans, low-quality images, abbreviations, or complex diagrams. Always compare AI output against the original document before relying on it.
Voice Input Can Be Misheard
Speech recognition may mishear names, numbers, medical terms, accents, or words in noisy environments. Review the transcript before acting on it, and confirm critical details (especially numbers and drug names) before proceeding.
No Real Clinical Dependence
Outputs of all tools — text, image, file, voice, AI-generated summaries, lab reasoning, and virtual-patient conversations — must not be used for diagnosis of real patients, treatment plans, prescriptions, clinical orders, dosage decisions, emergency decisions, or patient monitoring. Every result is an educational reference for this simulation only.
